Dress With Grace
Grace Institute empowers underserved women in the New York area to achieve employment and economic self-sufficiency. Within a supportive and structured environment, Grace Institute provides job-skills training, counseling, placement services and continuous learning opportunities that lead to upwardly mobile employment. Founded over 120 years ago, Grace Institute offers these services so that the participants can realize their inherent strength, resilience and limitless potential.
This twice annual Dress with Grace event allows volunteers to provide Grace women with styling advice and assist them in selecting professional attire from our suit collection. You and your organization can help us boost a woman's confidence by donating new and gently used work wear (especially sizes 12-44W), accessorizes and shoes, such as:
Interview appropriate skirt and pant suits
Blouses, blazers and jackets
Professional shoes
Practical handbags and briefcases
Simple but complimentary accessories
Plus size professional attire (sizes 12-44W)
Volunteer needs:
We need volunteers to help sort and organize the clothes from
April 19th to May 1st.
On May 2nd volunteers are needed from 11 AM-3 PM &
6 PM- 8 PM.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 21+, Minimum Age:21+
