Vista on 5th: Senior Companions (UES)
Lott Assisted Living Residence frequently requires volunteers to escort our frail, elderly residents to community and neighborhood activities, such as on walks to Central Park.
Recently acclaimed by New York Magazine as one of the most highly respected elder care facilities in the region, Lott Residence is a not-for-profit and Manhattan’s only assisted living facility that accepts Medicaid, and serves as a state and national model for the quality of life that can be achieved for assisted living.
Lott Residence is located on the Upper East Side and over looks Central Park.
Schedule: Flexible Monday-Friday
*This position may not be weekly due to our elder's schedules.
What you will do:

What you will do:
- Take long walks with our seniors in Central Park
- Talk to our residents about their experience, hopes, and dreams
- Help with occasional shopping excursions in NYC
Please note: Volunteers are required to pass a medical clearance, which involves a PPD test (to determine whether the volunteer has tuberculosis). The test can be provided at Lott Residence.
