Annual Parade
The National Puerto Rican Day Parade (NPRDP) will be held on Sunday, June 11th along NYC’s Fifth Avenue.
Additional Information: Parade walkers should be comfortable walking for over 30 blocks (in any weather condition) while handing out giveaways from Catholic Charities.
Volunteers will meeting at a TBD time at a specific location. Each person will be given a white T-shirt commemorating the Parade to wear while we march. No short-shorts, cut-offs, ripped jeans, mini-skirts, etc. Most staff will be wearing jeans or Bermuda shorts.
Volunteers are needed to march alongside along the CC mini bus and distribute giveaways along the parade route from approx 9:00 am - 4:00pm along Fifth Avenue (the parade runs from 44th Street to 79th Street.)
