3. I'm having problems signing up for opportunities.

Make sure that you're logged in. If you are logged in, and are still having problems, contact our Volunteer Services Department at at ccvolunteer@archny.org

4. How do I remove myself from a project I can no longer attend?

Thanks for letting us know. By dropping out in our system as soon as you know, you'll leave space for another volunteer to step in. Log in to your account, click on "My Account" and then scroll down to "Upcoming Opportunities" and click on "Remove Me" next to the project you can't attend. If it's the day of the project, you may also want to e-mail your Volunteer Leader so they know not to expect you. (Replying directly to the reminder e-mail won't work -- look for your Volunteer Leader's contact information in the body of the e-mail.)

5. What kinds of projects does Catholic Charities offer?

We offer volunteer opportunities throughout the Hudson Valley area, Manhattan, Bronx and Staten Island, all ranging from one-time projects to those requiring a more significant commitment. Browse these opportunities now.

8. How much time do I have to commit?

That will be up to you. Our goal is to make volunteering accessible to everyone and to fit everyone’s schedule.

The Volunteer Services Director will work with you to figure this out.  You can learn more at the orientation.

Anyone under 18 will need to volunteer with their parent or guardian. You'll need to bring a signed minor consent form to each project.

For those 15 - 17, you can still create an account and sign yourself up for projects you'd like to attend.

16. Do I need an orientation?

No! You can sign up for any opportunity on our site before attending orientation. Some opportunities will require you to undergo a separate training seminar. Please read each posting carefully for these requirements and follow the instructions to sign up.
