Join Catholic Charities in our commitment to care for the most vulnerable families in Westchester by volunteering at our annual Shopping Day. *For TEAM REGISTRATION, please see below.
Volunteers are needed to shop and bag "basic items of necessity" such as clothes and bedding at Kmart in White Plains. Each volunteer will receive a profile of the family they are shopping for and a maximum budget. As a volunteer you can shop for one or more families.
The St. Nicholas Project is a program that provides critical social services to families in need throughout the year. St. Nicholas Project services include nutritious meals, job readiness training, housing assistance, immigration and refugee resettlement counseling as well as providing gifts for families that otherwise could not afford a Christmas gift exchange.
Items are purchased with previously donated funds. Donations are welcome.
