2020 St. Cecilia's Food Pantry: Food Pantry Assistant

Do you share our passion to fight food insecurity? Would you like to be a part of a long-standing food pantry at a beautiful, historic church in the heart of East Harlem?
The pantry serves up to 100 families per week. Friendly, energetic volunteers are needed to help our pantry users select from the nutritious products on our shelves. Some may need help getting their shopping carts down a few stairs. Fluency in Spanish or Chinese language(s) would be a huge plus, but a helpful, caring attitude is the main requirement. We also have a need for volunteers with a social work interest and/or computer skills.
St. Cecilia’s Food Pantry is part of the Feeding Our Neighbors Programs of Catholic Charities Community Services
St. Cecilia’s Food Pantry is convenient to the 6 train as well as several bus lines.
