Lott Residence: Senior Volunteer Escort
Lott Assisted Living Residence frequently requires volunteers to escort our frail, elderly residents to medical appointments.
Recently acclaimed by New York Magazine as one of the most highly respected elder care facilities in the region, Lott Residence is a not-for-profit and Manhattan’s only assisted living facility that accepts Medicaid, and serves as a state and national model for the quality of life that can be achieved for assisted living.
Lott Residence is on the Upper East Side and over looks Central Park.
Additional Information: Doctor appointments are usually between normal business hours. These appointments can be up to a block of 4 hours including travel. Transportation will be provided by the facility.
Appointments can be scheduled up to weeks or days in advance.
Please note: Volunteers are required to pass a medical clearance, which involves a PPD test (to determine whether the volunteer has tuberculosis). The test can be provided at Lott Residence.
