Guild for the Blind: Consumer Satisfaction Volunteer
Help read surveys to the blind! This opportunity is located in Midtown East.
The Consumer Satisfaction Volunteer will contact former Catholic Guild for the Blind clients via telephone to offer them the opportunity to orally complete a consumer satisfaction survey. Consumer Satisfaction is an important part of our monitoring and evaluation process. The consumer satisfaction survey provides a unique perspective on our services and their impact on our clients.
Each survey is estimated to take about 15 minutes and the volunteer will document each client’s answers in real time via Survey Monkey.
The Catholic Guild for the Blind removes barriers, creates solutions, and expands possibilities so people with vision loss can achieve their full potential. Our wide range of services includes:
- Travel/orientation and mobility instruction
- Personal daily/independent living skills
- Education and English as a Second Language programs
- Computer training/assistive technology
- Employment training and placement
- Low-vision services and devices
- Information, referrals and other supports
The hours and duration of this opportunity are flexible and will depend upon the number of volunteers and their availability. If one volunteer took the entire opportunity, we estimate it would take about 38-40 hours to contact all clients.
The timeframe is flexible, but we prefer it be between 12-5pm. We would like the opportunity to last no longer than 4 weeks.
