Opportunity Details

2018 Holy Thursday Food Pantry Distribution with Cardinal Dolan

Cardinal Timothy Dolan will be coming to St. Cecilia’s new enhanced Food Pantry in East Harlem to give his blessing upon it and distribute food to pantry clients.
St. Cecilia’s Food Pantry has moved to a larger space and now will offer ‘client choice’ to participants. This means that clients will be able to choose between different food options when visiting the pantry (for example, choosing between rice or pasta, or different types of vegetables).
Goya will also be formerly announcing their generous annual donation of 300,000 lbs of food to Catholic Charities Feeding Our Neighbors Program.
Volunteers will be asked to assist with crowd control, directing pantry clients, handling and distribution of food to clients, as well as set-up and break-down of chairs and tables.
The new St. Cecilia's Food Pantry is located in East Harlem near the 103rd Street subway stop on the 6 line.
