July Bronx Family Day
Join us in the Bronx for our annual family-friendly block party with music, carnivals rides, endless fun, food and entertainment!
At this annual Family Day event, all children will receive a free book bag and school supplies!
We are looking for volunteers to help with set up and at the event. Volunteers will help us:
- Move bags and boxes for distribution
- Unpack bags and boxes and organize items on table
- Distribute items on the table
This event is hosted by Catholic Charities' Homebase program. Catholic Charities' Homebase program helps families in rent arrears by addressing the multiple and complex issues which are the root cause of financial crisis. Many low-income New Yorkers go to shelters to cope with their housing crisis. Catholic Charities is dedicated to strengthening families and resolving crisis through comprehensive Case Management, Financial Counseling, Tenant Eviction Prevention Workshops, Employment Services, and Advocacy.
