Quilting/Sewing Instructor: Staten Island
We are looking for a volunteer skilled in sewing, knitting and quilting to guide and teach seniors.
The center is most active during 9am - 11:30am Monday - Friday, so we are looking for volunteers who can be flexible during these times.
This opportunity can be centered around the availability of the volunteer at either of the two Catholic Charities Community Services (CCCS) Senior Centers in Staten Island:
These centers provide daily hot meals and offer social, health, educational, and recreational opportunities to adults age 60 and above.
Volunteers help us to enhance all areas of service, especially our education and recreation activities.
