Administrative Support: Guild For the Blind
Catholic Guild for the Blind offers services to sight-imparied children, youth, adults and senior citizens in all five boroughs of New York City. Services include: vision rehabilition therapy, orientation and mobility, vocational training, job development and academic services.
The department is looking for a roll-up-your-sleeves type of volunteer to support the office. The ideal volunteer will be comfortable with filing and other administrative tasks. Additional support is also needed helping clients fill out job applications online. This can take up to 2 hours.
This will be a great way to learn about one of Catholic Charities' more hands-on programs.
Additional Information: This opportunity has flexible hours between 9am - 5pm. Mon - Fri
