Family Fun: Painting With A Purpose
A volunteer opportunity for you and your little ones.* If you are an adult volunteering by yourself, please sign up for our other event Painting With a Purpose: Adults Only In this opportunity, we are partnering with the folks at The Paint Place NY. We will provide you with all of the materials and instruction to create your own painting. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Yourmasterpiece will then be hung up throughout a much-needed program of Catholic Charities- Beacon of Hope. Beacon of Hope works with over 400 individuals with severe mental illnesses and these paintings will certainly brighten their day. Come join us! Volunteers will be guided step-by-step, through the basics of acrylic painting — in a fun and relaxing atmosphere. Food and drinks will be provided. *Parents with children ages 4 - 11 recommended.
