Helping Senior Citizens: Weather Related Emergencies
In preparation for the heavy snow this weekend, we are looking for volunteers who are interested in running any errands to senior citizens in need - when gaining access to the outside would be difficult for them. Errands may include delivering food, goods, escorting, etc..
If you do express an interest in this opportunity we would contact you if a person in your vicinity is asking for assistance and facilitate instructions for help if you are available and willing at that time.
This opportunity extends to anywhere in the 10 county Archdiocesan area including: Manhattan, Bronx, Staten Island , Westchester , Rockland , Putnam Orange, Dutchess, Ulster and Sullivan counties.
