Home Reorganization/Clean Up
Patient, organized and caring volunteers needed for this disaster assistance opportunity.
A senior homeowner, whose lower basement was devastated by the storm, needs assistance in cleaning up the interior of her home. In this volunteer opportunity, volunteers will be moving household items from the owner's bedrooms, and placing them categorically into labeled boxes. Old carpet may also be removed. There is also another home nearby that requires similar sorting of items as well as some yard clean-up.
Though most of the work will most likely be indoors, volunteers are asked to dress with the expectation of getting dirty and possibly being outside. Lunch and transportation will be provided. Pick up time will be at 9:30am and will be determined closer to the date.
