Put Your Values into Action

Service Project

The most meaningful workplaces are those where people know their efforts make a difference. By partnering with Catholic Charities of New York, your team transforms time and talent into hope, building stronger communities, supporting our most vulnerable neighbors, and creating lasting impact together.

When you collaborate with Catholic Charities of New York, your company’s social responsibility goals meet meaningful, well-designed service. We offer a wide range of turnkey volunteer opportunities; whether it’s addressing food insecurity, planting gardens, assembling essential kits, or uplifting older adults, your opportunity will undoubtedly foster teamwork, boost morale, and enforce a purpose-driven culture.

Catholic Charities Serving the Needs of Others Since 1917

Catholic Charities helps solve the problems of New Yorkers in need, non-Catholics and Catholics alike. The neglected child, the homeless family, the immigrant and refugee, the person with special needs, and the hungry senior are among those for whom we provide help and create hope – with compassion and respect.

We work alongside over 90 non-profit agencies throughout the city to serve vulnerable New Yorkers. Together we represent the Federation of Agencies.

Nourish the City with Care!

Join us in spreading hope—one meal at a time. In this 3–4 hour volunteer  project, your team will help pack, deliver, and serve nutritious meals to New  Yorkers facing food insecurity. Whether supporting a food pantry, stocking
shelves, or lending a hand at a community soup kitchen, every action helps  ensure that children, families, seniors, and our homeless neighbors have  access to the meals they deserve. Together, we can turn compassion into  nourishment and remind our city that no one is forgotten at the table.

 Pack Kindness with Purpose!

In just 1–2 hours, your team can make a big impact through a Kit Packing Day, a fun, flexible, and high-energy way to give back. Whether at your office  or one of our sites, volunteers come together to assemble care kits that meet  real community needs, from back-to-school and reading kits for youth to  toiletry kits for families, newborn bundles for new parents, teacher  appreciation kits, and household care kits filled with daily essentials. Every kit tells someone, “You’re cared for.” With options for groups of 10 to  100, this is a powerful way to unite your team and spread hope across New  York City—one package at a time.

Share Joy and Connection with Our Seniors!

Spend a few meaningful hours brightening the day of older New Yorkers  through Senior Activities designed to inspire laughter, learning, and  companionship. In this 1–3 hour project, your team might lead a walking tour of Central Park, host a classic board game social, or become part of  our “Genius Bar” tech crew helping residents learn everyday digital skills  like writing an email or using FaceTime to connect with loved ones. These moments of care and conversation remind our seniors that they’re valued
and never alone. Your presence can turn an ordinary afternoon into a  celebration of friendship, dignity, and joy.
