2019-2020 LSA: Thrift Shop Assistant (East Harlem)
Do you want to help us with our Thirft Shop?
LSA Family Health Services is located in East Harlem near the 116th 4/5/6 Subway line.
We are looking for volutneers to help at the "Sharing Place" thrift shop. We needs volunteers to help sort and tag clothes, organize stock, and other aspects of retail store support. Volunteers need to be patient, able to handle a busy and active atmosphere, and be able to cheerfully deal with customers.
Hours needed: Saturday 10am-5pm.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) a real plus.
LSA Family Health Service, founded by The Little Sisters of the Assumption in 1958, is a neighborhood-based nonprofit which delivers a holistic model of human services. We help families meet their most fundamental needs: food, clothing, healthcare, and a safe home. Through home visits, on-site services, support groups, classes and more, we help the most vulnerable achieve the wellness and strength they need to move forward.
