2020 Xavier Mission: Coughlin Men’s Shelter Volunteer
Located near Union Square, the Coughlin Men's Shelter opens its doors to 13 men each night. Our guests trust us to provide a safe and relaxed environment year around. You can help open and run the shelter alongside our staff and distribute snacks.
Schedule:
- Primetime: Every night, 7:00pm–10:00pm
- Overnight: Every night, 7:00 or 10:00pm–6:30am (next day)
- Welcome our guests as they arrive
- Handout meals and snacks
- Socialize with our guests over a cup of coffee
- Help wake guests in the morning
- Set out breakfast
- Assist with clean-up and closing
