2025 CCCS Immigration Division International Center Administrative Support
Who We Are
Since 1949, Catholic Charities Community Services has been the primary direct service provider of The Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York. Our programs form an integrated, holistic safety net to assist people in achieving long-term stability across Manhattan, the Bronx, Westchester, and Putnam Counties. The International Center is a program within the Immigration Divison, providing ESOL support for clients. Their mission is to help people in the immigrant, refugee, asylee, and undocumented communities learn English and the skills needed to improve their lives.
We are looking for a volunteer to support the program's administrative needs at their offices in lower Manhattan. Express interest below if you'd like to be considered for this volunteer position!
Volunteer Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems
- Photocopy, scan, and file documents
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all tasks
- Prepare and distribute materials (e.g., flyers, forms, packets)
- Assist with data entry and updating databases
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience using Microsoft Excel
- Experience with basic data entry
- Canva experience welcomed
- Must be comfortable undergoing a background check
Schedule
Weekly on Wednesdays, hours to be determined with Program Manager upon official approval of volunteer.
