CCCS Bronx Center Thanksgiving Feast Distribution


Catholic Charities Community Services Feeding Our Neighbors is our emergency food program. They distribute millions of meals to individuals and families who cannot afford to visit a local supermarket or grocery store. 

Help us make Thanksgiving a little brighter for our neighbors. Join us at the Bronx Hub Food Pantry to support our annual Turkey Day distribution. Your helping hands and welcoming spirit will bring real comfort to families across the community. Every family will receive a turkey with all the fixings to make a thankgiving feast!

Volunteer Responsibilities

  • Assist with line control to keep the flow smooth and friendly
  • Help with distribution and bagging of items
  • Offer warm hospitality to families arriving throughout the day
  • Support breakdown and clean up at the end of the shift

Qualifications & Skills

  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift and move items short distances (5-10 lbs)
  • Willingness to collaborate with other volunteers
  • Interact with clients in a hospitable and positive manner
