Greater Chinatown Community Association
http://www.gccanyc.org/index.html"Greater Chinatown Community Association (GCCA) betters the well-being of the Chinatown community within New York City through unique, individualized program services. GCCA seeks to provide beneficial services for the many needs of the Chinatown community, especially for newly arrived immigrants and the elderly. We believe that those living within Chinatown should have access to care in the areas of adult education, medicine/health, recreation/culture, and consultation/aid. Each year, GCCA serves an average of 400 seniors and 600 adults through its range of programs. Its clients are primarily from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, but also includes immigrants of Chinese origin from Southeast Asian countries, such as Vietnam, Thailand, Burma, and Malaysia. Clients seek and find support, companionship, and friendship at GCCA daily."
