Tutors: West 192nd
Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
9th Grade – To ensure that all freshman’s transition into high school is as seamless as possible they will be required to attend one hour of homework help/tutoring every day after school. Teachers will be present to provide instructional direction but quality support and individualized learning will be dependent on volunteer tutors. We are seeking 25 volunteers each day to support this effort. Freshman homework help/tutoring will be offered Monday – Friday from 3:40- 4:45pm beginning on the first day of school, September 9th.
10th, 11th, 12th Grades – Small group and individual tutoring after school Monday –Friday. Tutoring would be offered beginning October 5th and will be offered from 2:45pm – 4:00pm. Seeking 10 tutors for the 10th-12th grade students.
All tutoring will take place at the High School for Health Careers and Sciences (549 Audubon Avenue.)
Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+, Minimum Age:18+
