St. Nicholas Project

The St. Nicholas Project provides thousands of needy New York families and individuals of all religions with winter clothing (coats, sweaters, hats, scarves, gloves, etc.) and other supportive services throughout the year. Together we can keep hope alive during the Christmas season and serve many more individuals each year. The St. Nicholas Project consists of:

  1. St. Nicholas Project Shopping Days
  2. Adopt-A-Family (registration will open in Fall 2019)
  3. Parish Giving Trees

St. Nicholas Project Shopping Days

Each December hundreds of generous volunteers gather at the Kmart in Westchester and the Kmart in Astor Place (Manhattan) to help shop for thousands of needy New Yorkers. Catholic Charities provides the budget, and volunteers provide their shopping skills and expertise!
